The strategy was to harness the dynamic energy of New York City, its diverse neighborhoods, and the varied identities of runners to launch a campaign centered around the brand message “Rise. Run. Rest. Repeat” for the Nike-sponsored NYC Marathon. To generate excitement and reinforce the sense of community, the campaign featured the faces of real everytday runners, fostering camaraderie and enthusiasm within the marathon community. This approach aimed to build support and create a buzz around the event, celebrating both individual achievements and collective spirit.
