Nike Girls’ Club is an activation designed to work in tandem with the “Never Settle, Never Done” campaign created by Wieden + Kennedy for the 2022 UEFA European Women’s Championship to serve as an empowerment tool for women in football. By highlighting females from grassroots club teams to England’s pro Lioness players, Nike Girls’ Club creates a space for female-identifying youth in the community to engage in football and all the benefits it has to offer: teamwork, competition, and a healthy lifestyle. The campaign consists of a community installation drawing inspiration from the ad’s urban settings. Nike Girls’ Club is a take on a dual living billboard and football field activation for girls and community members to come together to test their football skills, get inspired, build community, and find empowerment through sport.
